This Greek Salad is unlike any salad we’ve eaten before! For one thing, the Feta cheese was piled in huge blocks, not wimpy crumbles like you might find on inferior salads.

We dove into the mini greek salad as a side to our Spaghetti A La Greek at Joe’s Inn. Joe tossed together some lettuce, small onions, olives, carrots, and tomatoes. None of that is foreign to a salad.

What really sets this greek salad apart is its blocks of feta cheese, and it’s sweet greek vinegarette dressing. I ended up picking up the bowl to drink the excess dressing, it was that good! A pale pink dressing, it maintained the character of a traditional greek dressing, but included an extra “MMMM….” by being enriched with a sweet after taste, almost like a blush wine.

As an FYI, we ordered this salad with no anchovies, but Joe will gladly include them if you ask.
